CDC Says Soap & Detergent is Enough To Reduce Risk of Infection

Says disinfection is likely not needed unless someone is sick or COVID positive.

On April 5, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention released updated guidance related to cleaning the home.    In the agency’s new guidance, it writes:   “Cleaning with a household cleaner that contains soap or detergent reduces the amount of germs on surfaces and decreases risk of infection from surfaces.
